Eiknarf Capsule Collection for Black Scale
July 28th, 2010
Damn how do I start this write up? Frankie Colamarino aka Eiknarf aka the crazy homie from New York city aka the dude that has hella tattoos aka the dude that kills the blogs with pornographic pictures of woman around the globe aka with a celebrity following that eats up his art. Eiknarf and I (Mega) came to be friends off our mutual friends Norm (Msk/Awr), N.A. (Deadline), Hawaii Mike (LTD Magazine) within the community and with respecting the direction/art we work on. We got together and spoke on a project about a future capsule collection for Black Scale, Eiknarf felt we had mutual tastes and how for him the style that you look for just comes so natural and its a style he never gets to really work on but it comes so fluid when describing the aesthetic of Black Scale. on Aug 14, 2010 we will launch the Eiknarf capsule collection for Black Scale at the Black Scale store in San Francisco. More info to come but for now check his website out at Eiknarf.com.

We met Curtains a few years ago at Union in Los Angeles and it’s been a building process ever since. We re-connected a few months back from our friend Wahid Islaam from Boston to collaborate on his new project which is a tribute to Wu Tang Clan “The Dissertation: Wu-Thesis” mixtape which will release July 31st. We will bring Curtains out to San Francisco July 31st to open up for Black Star featuring Mos Def & Talib Kweli at the Fox theater in Oakland brought to you by Ankh Marketing and Another Planet Entertainment. We designed a tee and hoody for the collaboration and are now available at The Black Scale store in San Francisco. Check out HighSocietylife.blogspot.com to see Curtains at work and the future projects he will be releasing.
