The Grand Opening turn was amazing. The support that we got from all of our Families, Friends and Customers was overwhelming and it went beyond our expectations. Thanks to everyone that came out and showed us support.

Black Ops SF/LA

Alfred De’ Tagle (Co Owner), Rob Garcia (Marketing & Production) and myself taking a break during the build out of the pop up store in San Francisco. In the last year living in Los Angeles I have had the pleasure of working with Rob and watch him help us market and also have production input with future projects we have lined up. As we grow it’s natural to build a team that will help the company get to the next stages and having him a part of our team has not only been organic but a blessing.

Keys to the City

When I first moved to San Francisco from the East Bay I had the pleasure of meeting Alex Aquino who is one of our dear friends and also a key player within our Black Scale family. If you hear about the scene in San Francisco you will most likely hear Alex’s name from the extensive resume he has helping the city build a name for itself in the last twenty years. For the last five years of knowing him it was always about building and trying to find ways to improve ourselves. With our projects in the past he was always willing to support us and lend a helping hand. Now he is helping us with the new pop up store and the brand as a whole. It’s a blessing to have one of the guys that has the keys to the city be a part of Black Scale.

We have been blessed to work with Apex who has been killing the graf scene in SF for more then a decade. I saw this pattern from him about a year ago on an existing piece he did and I asked him, “could we use this pattern for our wall if and when we ever open a store”. The day has come and Apex not just kept his word but blessed us with doing the pattern himself. Thanks Apex for everything and look out for a Black Scale x Apex collab coming out this summer.
