July Photo Recap: NYC via Berlin & Amsterdam
September 5th, 2012July started out with a trip to Berlin, Germany to participate in our first international trade show, Bread & Butter. This was also my first time traveling to Europe. First let me say that the people we encountered in Berlin were amazing. It was great to interact with the people of modern day Berlin. The dark history of Nazi Germany followed by Russia’s communist oppression during the time of the Berlin Wall has produced a new generation of German citizens that are caring, polite and very accommodating. The good people organizing the Bread & Butter trade show fell nothing short of these qualities. We were fortunate to be stationed next to our good friends from SSUR during the show. The show itself was a huge success. It was inspiring to see how many people in Europe were familiar with Black Scale. S/O to Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky & A$AP Twelvyy for murdering their performances for the trade show evening festivities and for making me feel a little closer to home while traveling overseas. Our next stop of the trip was Amsterdam, an amazingly beautiful city with gorgeous gothic architecture built on seemingly endless canals know for their marijuana friendly coffee shops, mushroom selling smart shops and Heineken beer. S/O to the crew over at Patta for taking care of the familia. Unfortunately I dropped my camera on the second day in Amsterdam hence I will be cutting this month’s photo recap short. Thankfully my replacement has arrived and the next NYC photo recap will be up soon.
